BIG ROCK CHOPHOUSE BREWERY

Adjoining the restaurant is a 1,950-square-foot brew house, with custom-designed, state-of-the-art equipment. Award-winning Brewmaster Dan Rogers has created four signature beers to complement the restaurant’s distinctive American fare: Norm’s Raggedy Ass Ale, Raymondo El Rojo, Flying Buffalo Stout and Weizenheimer Hefe Weizen. In addition to the four regular beers, Rogers adds a seasonal and specialty brew, which he changes frequently. A testament to their focus on quality, Big Rock Chophouse has been the proud recipient of Gold and Bronze medals at the annual World Beer Championships.
All beer is available to go by purchasing one of our growlers. Tours of the brew house are also available by request.

NORM'S RAGGEDY-ASS ALE
A full bodied ale brewed with a variety of American hops to balance out the malt and alcohol. At 80 International Bittering Units, it's not for the wimpy palate. Most hop-heads will like this beer for their RDA of hops. This ale is best served with spicy dishes and goes great with a cigar. |
 |
RAYMONDO EL ROJO
This ale is brewed with dark caramel malts and a touch of roasted barley. to give it a rich ruby red color. After fermentation it is dry-hopped with EAST-KENT GOLDINGS, a traditional hop from England for aroma. This malty ale goes well with salmon or pork dishes. |
 |
FLYING BUFFALO
RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT
Winner of the Bronze Medal at the Great American Beer Festival 2005. A great after dinner beer and a perfect match with any cigar. |
 |
PLATINUM BLONDE LAGER
This lager is made with American 2-row barley and 20% wheat malt for a smooth finish. Order two steaks to go with this very light and refreshing beer. |
